Members of station 48 practiced search and rescue techniques in a vacant house located in Viola. The training was lead by Deputy Chief Andy Ney, and Past Chief Mike Rains. The house was filled with smoke from various smoke machines located throughout the residence. Various crews of old and young firefighters participated. These members included probationary and line officers. Victims were placed in the house, and the firefighters had to safely rescue the victims. The victim was succesfully rescued on every scenario.
