Working House Fire
Saturday, November 5, 2016
On 11/5/16 just before midnight the department was alerted for a possible house fire. While en route, multiple calls were taken confirming a working alarm. The alarm was upgraded adding Tanker Co 50 and Engine Co 41 to the call. Assistant Chief R. Simons arrived in Command with a single story residence with fire through the roof, and fire showing from all sides. Engine 4 arrived under the direction of Fire Chief K. Sipple and placed 2 hand lines in service. Engine 4 began to knock the fire, and make a push into the structure. The fire was knocked within minutes, and a primary search was negative. Tanker Co 50 continued in for water supply, and Engine Co 41 continued in for overhaul. The fire was placed under control in 35 minutes.
