2 Alarm Building Fire - 8964 S Dupont Hwy - Chambers Towing

Station 48 was alerted for a structure fire at Chambers Towing at 15:31 hours. Fire Chief Gary Moore arrived in Command 48 a few minutes later to find heavy smoke showing from the structure. Command directed Engine 48-4 to attack the fire, and for Tanker 55 to supply E48-4. Incident was placed under control at 15:51 hours, and is under investigation by Delaware State Fire Marshals Office. Thanks to Magnolia, and Frederica Fire Companies for providing mutual aide and to Harrington Fire Company for standing by at our Station.
