Felton Community Fire Company Highlights the Importance of Ambulance Club Membership

The Felton Community Fire Company Ambulance Club plays an important role in supporting the emergency medical services provided to residents throughout Felton and the surrounding communities. Through the continued support of community members, the Ambulance Club helps ensure that trained emergency personnel, equipment, and resources are available when they are needed most.

Felton Community Fire Company EMS provides 24/7 emergency medical coverage throughout its 69-square-mile service area, delivering professional and compassionate care to those experiencing medical emergencies. The dedication of the Fire Company’s EMTs and support personnel allows the community to have access to reliable emergency medical services every day of the year.

By becoming an Ambulance Club member, residents directly support the operation and continued improvement of these essential services. Membership contributions help maintain emergency equipment, support ongoing training, and assist with the overall operation of the ambulance program, allowing the Fire Company to continue providing high-quality emergency care to the community.

An Ambulance Club membership also provides peace of mind for residents by helping protect against unexpected ambulance expenses. If a member requires ambulance transportation provided by Felton Community Fire Company, their membership helps cover ambulance charges not paid by insurance, including applicable deductibles and copays. By contributing $100 or more, members will have no out-of-pocket expenses for eligible ambulance charges provided by Felton Community Fire Company. While any contribution is greatly appreciated, a $100 membership provides the greatest level of coverage.

Membership in the Ambulance Club is valid only when Felton Community Fire Company provides the ambulance transport. If a resident is outside of the Fire Company’s service district and requires an ambulance from another agency, or if another agency responds and provides transportation, the member will be responsible for any charges incurred from that agency. When transported by a Felton Community Fire Company ambulance, patients will be transported to the nearest appropriate hospital.

The 2026–2027 Subscription Membership is in effect from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.
