Donald Killen

FELTON – Donald L. ‘Duck’ Killen, 58, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Bayhealth Milford Memorial.

Donald was born in Milford to the late Lester A. and Catherine Maloney Killen on November 10, 1958. Donald spent all of his life farming with his brothers, son and nephews. He was a member of the Delaware Farm Bureau. Donald was a lifetime member of the Felton Community Fire Company, joining in 1976. He served as Past Chief Engineer and received the honor of Fireman of the Year in 2005. Donald especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandson, eating crabs on Friday nights with his sisters and having lunch with his friends on Sundays. Duck also enjoyed spending time at the Fire Company with his buddies, giving the younger generation -- including his daughter -- advice and being someone to look up to. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Killen. He is survived by his daughter, Katie Killen; his son and girlfriend, Cody Killen and Cailynn Fedorkowicz; the mother of his children, Judy Killen; two brothers, Robert and Sue Killen, and Roy and Susie Killen; seven sisters, Faye and David Dill, Nancy and Jack Dickerson, Connie and David Billings, Peggy and Ron Ivory, Eleanor Killen, Ellen Mitchell, and Robin Killen; his grandson, Briar Jones; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at the Felton Community Fire Company, 9 E. Main Street, Felton, DE on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 2 pm. A time of visitation will take place from 11 am until 2 pm. Interment will be at Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
