Dump Truck MVC

Station 48 was alerted for a motor vehicle collision (MVC) at 08:14. Units arrived to find a dump truck carrying stone rolled onto it's side off the northbound side of S DuPont Hwy just south of the Canterbury light. Ambulance A-48 and Kent County Paramedics KM-8 transported the operator to KGH. Engine 48-4 remained on scene with DSP to wait the arrival of DNREC. Northbound S DuPont Hwy was shutdown for about an hour.
