Annual Appreciation Event

We held our annual Appreciation Event for Members and Employees on Sunday, July 1^stat 2 PM.  This year’s event was changed to a less formal event scheduled to be held at Killens Pond State Park but moved back to our Station due to an excessive heat warning. Members enjoyed a meal catered by Steve’s Pit Crew, Music provided by DJ Jen Tunis, a bouncy house provided by Backyard Bouncers LLC, and homemade ice cream provided by our very own ice cream trailer.  In addition to the food and entertainment the following awards were presented:  

50 Year Life Member: Larry Sipple

25 Year Life Member: Todd Hannah, Adam Jarrell, and Randy Thompson

The 2017 Joesph H. Griffith Jr. Memorial Firefighter of the year: Larry Thompson

The 2017 Walter H. Moore Memorial Firemen of the year: Chuck Welch
